NLETC reserves the right to limit the number of attendees from any one agency. This is to provide equitable training throughout the state.

The Instructor Development course has been designed to give the participants the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully design, develop, and implement training within their agency using recognized training principles. This class applies to all law enforcement officers tasked with the training function within their respective agencies. It is not designed as an end-user course that teaches the individual how to use specific tactics or techniques. The course utilizes adult learning principles and incorporates hands-on lesson plan development and presentation skills to give the students the skills they need to successfully develop and present their training programs related to the specific agency's needs. This course meets all requirements set forth by the Nebraska Crime Commission and is recognized by the Police Standards Advisory Council of Nebraska.
