Basic PSD Camp-Grand Island (NLETC)
The Nebraska State Patrol will be hosting a Basic PSD Camp in Grand Island at the NLETC beginning March 6th 2023. The camp will be divided into two disciplines. The first part of camp will be Detector (narcotics or explosives) and will run approximately 5-6 weeks. The second part of camp will be Patrol (apprehension, building search, tracking) with a tentative start date the week of April 10 or April 17th. The anticipated finish date of Patrol camp will be prior to July 4th. The camp will run Monday through Friday; everyday attendance is highly recommended. There is no cost to attend this camp, all classroom materials will be provided. You/your agency are responsible to make lodging accommodations through NLETC by emailing Steven Gobel at steven.gobel@nebraska.gov. Class size will be limited.
