Reciprocity Training

Course Content: Reciprocity students will complete the course at the Training Center in four weeks. Students will take the legal course with the Basic students in class. Students will also complete defensive tactics, driving, firearms and active shooter response. Also included will be physical tasks that the officer must complete prior to certification. A list of these tasks is available on the Training Center's website.

Fees: A non-refundable $200 processing fee is due with the application. The Reciprocity admissions test will require a $100 fee that will be billed to the agency. After acceptance in the program, and prior to the start of the course, the student/agency is responsible for a tuition payment of $1440. There is also a material fee of $90. Tuition and material fees are non-refundable. There is also a $75 certification fee due prior to course completion.

Equipment: When you are enrolled for the course you will be sent an equipment list. Extra towels if you are staying at NLETC.
